Hi!

I am an Occupational Therapist, infant development specialist, and mother of two. My journey into movement-based approaches began not in a classroom, but with my own children.

My daughter was born via vacuum-assisted suction during a C-section and, this resulted in significant torticollis. As an OT, I followed the conventional stretching and strengthening program I had learned in graduate school. Despite my best efforts, the stretches were distressing for both of us, and over time I began to question whether there was a better way. Although we worked diligently, her head tilt persisted and her movement patterns became increasingly asymmetrical.

Everything changed when I was introduced to an occupational therapist and Anat Baniel NeuroMovement® practitioner whose approach was unlike anything I had encountered before. Rather than focusing on stretching, she used gentle movement lessons that helped my daughter discover new possibilities for comfort, coordination, and ease. Over time, her torticollis resolved, her movements became more symmetrical, and the fear she had developed around being handled disappeared.

When my son was born with severe torticollis and breastfeeding challenges of his own, I was prepared. We began Anat Baniel NeuroMovement® lessons immediately, without stretching, and his torticollis resolved much more quickly than my daughter’s.

These experiences transformed both my professional practice and my understanding of child development. Inspired by the profound changes I witnessed in my own children, I devoted myself to studying the Feldenkrais Method®, the Anat Baniel Method® (ABM)®, and NeuroHorizons®. I was fortunate to train with Sylvia Shordike, a master teacher of both Feldenkrais and ABM and the creator of NeuroHorizons®. I became a NeuroHorizons® Experiential Movement Mentor®, and this work has profoundly shaped how I support babies, children, and families.

As an occupational therapist, my understanding of child development was transformed through NeuroHorizons®. Today, I help infants and children discover greater ease, comfort, and confidence through this movement-based approach.

NeuroHorizons® Experiential Movement®

NeuroHorizons® Experiential Movement® is an innovative approach developed by Sylvia Shordike and inspired by the work of Moshe Feldenkrais. Through gentle touch and individualized movement experiences, it engages the brain’s natural capacity to learn, adapt, and develop. Grounded in the principles of neuroplasticity, these lessons help children discover new possibilities for unrestricted movement, feeding, coordination, regulation, comfort, and overall development through increased awareness and whole-body learning, rather than exercises or symptom-focused interventions.

Craniosacral Fascial Therapy
(Gillespie Approach)

Craniosacral Fascial Therapy (CFT), developed by Dr. Barry Gillespie, is a gentle hands-on approach that focuses on releasing tension and restrictions within the body’s fascial system. By addressing areas of compression and strain, particularly those that may result from pregnancy, birth, or physical stress, CFT supports improved comfort, movement, feeding, regulation, and overall function. The work is subtle, non-invasive, and tailored to each individual’s needs.

Safe and Sound Protocol® (SSP)

The Safe and Sound Protocol®, developed by Dr. Stephen Porges and based on Polyvagal Theory, is a listening therapy designed to support nervous system regulation. Using specially filtered music, SSP helps the brain and body become more receptive to feelings of safety, connection, and engagement. It may support improvements in emotional regulation, attention, social connection, sensory processing, and resilience to everyday stress.

Primitive Reflex Integration

Primitive reflexes are automatic movement patterns that emerge in infancy and serve as building blocks for development. When these reflexes remain active beyond their typical timeframe, they can interfere with posture, coordination, attention, emotional regulation, learning, and motor skills. Through individualized movement experiences and developmental activities, primitive reflex integration supports the nervous system in developing more mature and efficient patterns for movement, learning, and daily life.

Every child already possesses extraordinary potential for growth. My role is to create the conditions that allow that potential to emerge.

You Are Not Behind

Whether your baby is experiencing challenges with feeding, regulation, or development, it is never too late.

While development follows a natural biological progression, every baby takes their own unique path. Learning to roll, reach, sit, crawl, stand, and walk is a process of exploration and discovery, with countless small steps between the milestones we can easily see.

My intention is to help babies discover greater ease and adaptability in how they move, learn, and interact with the world.

Small changes can lead to meaningful shifts in how a baby functions, engages, and thrives.

I would be honored to support you and your family on that journey.
